Who we are

Mercy Prevails Christian Ministry operates this website. If you have any question about this policy or about the information we hold, contact us at info@mercyprevails.org.

What we collect

We only collect what you choose to send us through a form on this site:

• Contact form: your name, email address, phone number if you give one, and your message.
• Prayer requests: your name, email address, phone number if you give one, and your request. You may mark a request confidential.
• Testimonies: your name, location, category and the testimony you submit for review.
• Event registration: your name, email address, phone number, church or organisation if you give one, and your attendance preferences.
• Newsletter: your name, email address and the topics you select.

We do not collect payment card details on this site. We do not use advertising trackers, and we do not sell or rent your information to anyone.

How we use it

• To reply to your message or enquiry.
• To pray for the requests you send us.
• To review and, with your submission, publish testimonies on this site.
• To register you for an event and send you a confirmation.
• To send ministry updates, if you asked for the newsletter.

Confidential prayer requests

When you mark a prayer request confidential, it is not included in notification emails and is not published anywhere on this site. It remains visible to the ministry team members who serve on our prayer desk.

Where it is stored

Submissions are stored in a managed PostgreSQL database and are accessible only to authorised ministry administrators through a password-protected dashboard. We use Resend to deliver notification and confirmation emails, and Cloudinary to host images and media. Each of those providers processes only what is needed to perform that service.

How long we keep it

We keep contact messages, prayer requests and event registrations for as long as we need them for ministry follow-up, and then remove them. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe.

Your choices

You can ask us to send you a copy of the information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time. Write to info@mercyprevails.org and we will act on your request.

Cookies

This site sets a cookie only when a ministry administrator signs in to the dashboard, to keep that session active. Visitors browsing the public pages are not given tracking cookies.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will remove it.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. See also our Terms of Service.
